Overview
We are currently seeking Azure Data Engineer to join our team of experts. The hired candidate will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data architecture and pipeline, as well as improving data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. The candidate should be an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from scratch.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Designing & Building data architectures, including the design & set-up of scalable Modern Data Platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to support their data infrastructure needs.
- Implement and maintain data solutions on Azure, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
- Design and develop data integration process using Dot Net technologies.
- Design and implement robust ETL processes for transforming and loading data from various sources into Azure storage solutions.
- Optimize and fine-tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and data quality, ensuring smooth and efficient data processing.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues or errors in data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Utilize your data modeling and schema design expertise to ensure data structures meet business needs and support efficient querying and reporting.
- Remaining up to date with technological developments and industry norms can help you produce higher-quality results.
Required Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience as an Azure Data Engineer.
- 4+ years of experience developing or supporting Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), SQL, and Synapse data warehouse.
- Hands-on experience in working with high-volume, mission-critical applications.
- Experience in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, VB.Net.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment methodologies.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Azure Data Engineer or Solutions Architect certification is desirable.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
